About the Project
Within the scope of the "Completion of the Water and Sanitation program" implemented by Mahlahle and financed by Sasol, Collins, Lda is building a modern piped water supply system in Maluvane locality, Govuro District in Inhambane Province. This project not only brings drinking water to homes but also promotes health, safety and dignity for hundreds of families, reducing waterborne diseases and providing more time and quality of life.
Technical Characteristics
- Construction of a 13-meter reinforced concrete tower with four water tanks (40 m³) and control house
- Reinforced concrete base for 5 supported tanks with 10,000 Liters/each
- Water supply network with 500 household connections and 10 fountains with two taps/each
- Pumping station powered by solar photovoltaic energy, ensuring sustainability and energy autonomy
